♦️ The meaning of worship in Islam.
Asalaam alaikum my dear brothers, I hope that you are well. Today inshallah, we will explain the meaning of worship in Islam.

Worship in Islam is a necessary duty that Muslim should do for Allah. It includes prayer, giving alms(zakat), fasting, pilgrimage, doing good to parents, consanguinity, taking care of orphans and the like.

This worship requires glorifying Allah, submitting to him, groveling to him and obeying him in all circumstances.

Modern science proved the virtues of worship over people's health, especially for mental and spiritual health.

Islam came to teach human souls and protect them by legislating laws and acts of worship. For instance, prayer treats the human souls from life worries and emotions.

Fasting teaches people how to resist appetites and desires. And the rest of acts of worship help in refinement of self and behavior modification in society.
