♦️ Supplication (Du‘a)
Assalamu Alaikum, dear brothers. I hope you are doing well ????. Today, Insha’Allah, we will talk about supplication (Du‘a).
Let’s begin...
Supplication has a great status in Islam and is one of the greatest acts of worship. There is much evidence in the Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah showing the virtue and importance of supplication. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“There is nothing more honorable to Allah than supplication.”
In supplication, you ask Allah for all the good you desire in this life and the Hereafter. Allah Almighty says:
“Your Lord has said: Call upon Me, and I will respond to you.”
One of the best times to supplicate to Allah during prayer is while in prostration (Sujud). Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“The closest a servant is to his Lord is while he is prostrating, so increase your supplications.”
Allah Almighty loves His servants to call upon Him and ask Him, and He rewards them for their supplication and worship.
☘️ Every Muslim should seek Allah’s help in all circumstances and ask Him for goodness, relief, and help with their problems, knowing that Allah has power over all things.
