Assalamu Alaikum, dear brothers. I hope you are doing well ????. There are some mistakes that may occur during prayer, so we should learn about them in order to avoid them.
1️⃣ Eating and drinking intentionally during prayer:
If a person intentionally eats or drinks during prayer, the prayer becomes invalid. However, if this happens unintentionally, the prayer is valid.
2️⃣ Speaking intentionally during prayer without a need:
If a person intentionally speaks ordinary words during prayer without a valid need, the prayer becomes invalid. However, if they speak forgetfully or unintentionally, the prayer is valid.
3️⃣ Excessive movement and unnecessary actions during prayer:
A Muslim should remain focused and humble during prayer and avoid excessive movements and unnecessary actions that are inconsistent with the proper manner of prayer.
4️⃣ Laughing during prayer:
Laughing during prayer invalidates it. However, merely smiling without making a sound does not invalidate the prayer.
5️⃣ Not facing the Qiblah correctly:
A Muslim must face the Qiblah during prayer, except in situations in which Islamic law provides an exemption.
6️⃣ Performing a prayer outside its prescribed time:
Each prayer must be performed within its prescribed time. It is not permissible to intentionally delay a prayer until its time has ended without a valid Islamic excuse.
7️⃣ Wearing clothes that do not properly cover the ‘awrah:
Covering the ‘awrah is a condition for the validity of the prayer. Therefore, the worshipper’s clothing must properly cover the ‘awrah as required in Islam.
