♦️ The Ibrahimic Prayer and the Second Part of the Tashahhud
???????? Assalamu Alaikum, dear brothers ☺️. I hope you are well. By Allah’s grace, in the previous lesson we explained the first part of the Tashahhud, and today we will learn the second part of the Tashahhud.
♦️ This is the Ibrahimic Prayer (Salat al-Ibrahimiyyah).
☘️ “O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.”
???? Pronunciation:
“Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammad, wa ‘ala ali Muhammad, kama sallayta ‘ala Ibrahima wa ‘ala ali Ibrahim, innaka Hamidun Majid. Allahumma barik ‘ala Muhammad, wa ‘ala ali Muhammad, kama barakta ‘ala Ibrahima wa ‘ala ali Ibrahim, innaka Hamidun Majid.”
???? Praise be to Allah, we have now completed our lesson.
???? We should know that in prayers consisting of three or four Rak‘ahs, we sit for the first Tashahhud after the first two Rak‘ahs and recite the first part of the Tashahhud.
In the final Tashahhud of every prayer, we recite the complete Tashahhud, including the Ibrahimic Prayer.
